F1 Academy: still no promotion to F3 in 2025. This is the scenario for the young and talented drivers in the junior category reserved for them. However, there is no reason for concern: the development path must be gradual, and it is normal for more time to be required to better prepare the most promising girls.

The F1 Academy, in its first season broadcast live on television, has not disappointed expectations. With only two rounds remaining in the championship, the almost certain winner of the series' second season is Abbi Pulling. The English driver has secured as many as seven victories, gaining a 95-point advantage over her closest competitor.

While the initial viewership data is encouraging, it will take more time to achieve one of the main goals of the junior series: bringing its participants to Formula 3, Formula 2, and Formula 1. The two minor championships, in particular, are highly competitive and require significant investments. To date, the only woman to have raced in the new F3 is Sophia Floersch.

"I don't think we'll have a female driver from the F1 Academy [in Formula 3] next year, because it's a bit too soon," explained Bruno Michel, CEO of F3, to Feeder Series. "This is my opinion and also Susie [Wolff's] at the moment. It's extremely important for us to send the right message and show that a well-prepared female driver can have a strong season in Formula 3."

"Honestly, I have no idea [when this will happen]. It's something I will always discuss with Susie to figure out the best way and the right time to do it. It's one of the goals we've been working on for a long time."
