F1 car launch at O2 Arena: what should we expect from the February 18 event?

The countdown is nearly over for the most talked-about and exclusive event in London, where the official presentation of the 2025 cars will take place at the O2 Arena to celebrate Formula 1's 75th anniversary. According to media predictions, it will be a grand spectacle, where the show itself will take precedence over the main element—the cars. In fact, expectations should be tempered regarding what will be revealed about the new cars, as only the liveries will be unveiled.
The liveries will be the main novelty presented by the teams, along with some interviews with drivers and team principals. Some presentations might be digital, with footage displayed in the arena. For so-called “die-hard” fans, the details teams might reveal alongside the liveries will be crucial, while others will attend just to enjoy the exclusivity of the event.
Noteworthy are the teams that have decided to unveil their cars before the event. Among them, Williams stands out, as it will reveal its FW47 with a camouflage livery at Silverstone on February 14—a strategy previously used by teams like Red Bull and Sauber. Haas will likely opt for a simple digital launch on the evening of the O2 London event. However, we might get some “secret” photos of its 2025 car from its shakedown at Silverstone on February 16.
Equally interesting is the matter of track debuts: only a few teams have confirmed they will run their new cars at their main facilities (like Ferrari) or in Bahrain before pre-season testing begins (Red Bull). Meanwhile, Alpine, McLaren, and Sauber have yet to announce their approach.
The most anticipated event for F1 fans (and beyond) is fast approaching.
