The Ferrari 677 is taking shape, with its first milestone being the successful completion of crash tests, marking a true debut. However, contrary to expectations, these tests did not take place at Fiorano or near Maranello but in Lombardy.

The Italian side chose a company located in Bollate, near Milan, to test the car and evaluate its readiness for the FIA-mandated crash tests. The company, CSI, is a versatile Certification and Behavioral Analysis Center that operates internationally, offering services to various industries.

Ferrari in Bollate for Crash Tests (Successfully Passed)
The tests were conducted in absolute secrecy during the Christmas period at the facility and were successfully completed by Maranello’s latest creation. The FIA requires that the single-seater chassis pass these crash tests to be deemed ready to hit the track.

In short, the new Ferrari has already emerged and even left Emilia-Romagna to head to Lombardy, near Milan. The car, set to be driven by Charles Leclerc and seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, is now ready for the track.

At Maranello, the team has been hard at work to push forward in the 2025 F1 season and continue fighting for the championship. The aim is not to wait until 2026 and the new regulations to compete once again with McLaren.

The 2025 season could be a pivotal year, and after the Bollate tests, the first details about the Ferrari 677 are beginning to circulate. The car will make its track debut on February 19 at Fiorano. One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the year is fast approaching.
