The new season approaches
With a video shared on social media, Ferrari gave its fans a chance to hear the roar of the Prancing Horse’s power unit, which will power the SF-25 driven by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. This marks the traditional fire-up, the first ignition of the engine, which took place in the presence of Vice President Piero Ferrari, Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur, and Deputy Team Principal Jérôme D'Ambrosio.
Key dates to remember
In the past two weeks, Ferrari has been on track first at Fiorano with the SF-23, then in Barcelona, running both the two-year-old car and later the SF-24, adapted to simulate the aerodynamic load regulations of 2026 in Pirelli’s dedicated tests.
In just eleven days, on February 18, Ferrari will host its grand F1 2025 launch event, where the Maranello team will unveil its new colors. At the end of the presentation, a digital rendering of the SF-25 will be revealed through photos and videos. The following day, February 19, the traditional Fiorano shakedown will take place, where the actual car will be shown for the first time.
