Every driver pairing experiences some clashes over time. Despite this, Charles Leclerc has always maintained a great relationship with his Ferrari teammates. Let's take a closer look at his dynamic with each of the three, thanks to insights from someone close to the Monegasque.

Xavi Marcos, Charles Leclerc's former race engineer (who has already delved into his relationship with the Ferrari driver), has shared details about Charles' human side. The Spaniard started with Leclerc's arrival at Maranello in 2019, the year they began working together.

The first teammate Charles had was Sebastian Vettel, a four-time world champion at an advanced stage of his career. Coming off a lost title fight in 2018, Vettel had a tough time sharing the garage with the young newcomer. Nevertheless, once the helmets were off, the two always showed great mutual respect, and Sebastian allowed Charles Leclerc to learn from his experience.

On this topic, Xavier explained: "In the first year, 2019, Charles Leclerc experienced it without pressure; Vettel had it. He always had a relationship of great respect with Sebastian and learned a lot from him, especially from his incredible attention to detail. We learned a lot from this approach."

He then focused on Carlos Sainz, with whom Leclerc has shared the garage for four years. At times, their relationship sparked some friction, but it never escalated to the point of making the environment unbearable.

Regarding driver number 55, Charles Leclerc's former engineer had positive words, confirming that respect between the two has always been present despite occasional tensions. "Sainz is a very consistent driver, he works incredibly hard, and we've always used this as a reference. Charles and Carlos have always had a formal, respectful relationship. They are two different people, and naturally, there can be disagreements—it happens. But they have always communicated constructively." – he pointed out.

Finally, he commented on the arrival of Lewis Hamilton. During the negotiations and announcement period, Xavier Marcos was still with Ferrari alongside Leclerc, so he witnessed firsthand the Monegasque's reaction to Lewis' signing.

"Charles took it well. He was, of course, always aware of everything, of the negotiations, so it wasn't a surprise. The management was very professional in handling it. He immediately thought about what he could learn from Lewis and how he could grow—the right approach in motorsport."
