Qualifying has ended: let's take a look at the starting grid for the Las Vegas GP, including any penalties to be served.

With the qualifying sessions for the Las Vegas Grand Prix now complete, it’s time to review the starting grid and any penalties that might apply. On a track where Ferrari was expected to be competitive, it was Mercedes that dominated the first two practice sessions, with Lewis Hamilton leading the way.

Red Bull, on the other hand, faced difficulties upon arriving in Sin City, struggling with grip issues and a misconfigured rear wing. McLaren, meanwhile, is focused on maintaining its lead in the Constructors’ Championship and keeping the Drivers' Championship battle alive.

In Q1, the drivers eliminated were Sergio Pérez and Alex Albon. Mercedes confirmed their strong form on this circuit and in these cold conditions. In Q2, Franco Colapinto posted an impressive lap, having benefited from the slipstream of an Alpine, but unfortunately crashed into the wall. The Williams driver's car was badly damaged after the mistake.

After a brief delay, the session resumed. In Q3, Mercedes continued to be competitive, with George Russell and Lewis Hamilton both aiming for pole position. Oscar Piastri took to the track last for a final attempt. In the end, it was George Russell who claimed pole position! Ferrari will line up on the front row with Carlos Sainz, while his Maranello Charles Leclerc will start from fourth, with the Italian side confident the SF-24 cars will have a solid race pace that will allow the Monegasque and the Spaniard to fight for the win in the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
