At a press conference held today in Milan, the details of the partnership between Ferrari and UniCredit were revealed. Starting this season, the bank’s logo will appear on the Scuderia’s cars and on the suits of Leclerc and Hamilton.

The CEOs of the two companies, Benedetto Vigna and Andrea Orcel, revealed that talks began in 2021, also thanks to the relationship between the two CEOs. During the press conference, Andrea Orcel revealed that the partnership will last "three or four years."

To celebrate the partnership, a joint event will be held in Milan in the early days of March. "We'll do something together, keep the dates free," Benedetto Vigna and Andrea Orcel commented with a smile, without revealing the details of the initiative.

Mouths sealed, but there have already been leaks about a roadshow on the streets of Milan. "Our partnership will go beyond events," Orcel commented, "we'll do other things together, our relationship won't be limited to the presence of our logo on the car, it will be a partnership that develops on multiple fronts."

As expected, the first question asked of Benedetto Vigna was about Lewis Hamilton. "There's a lot of external interest in the company, but there's also a lot of excitement within – commented Ferrari's CEO – Lewis will start next week (his debut in red is scheduled for Wednesday 22 at Fiorano), we're almost ready for everything, and obviously, there's a lot of expectation."

The Ferrari CEO emphasized the value of Lewis Hamilton's challenge. "At forty, he has put himself to the test, accepting a challenge that will see him confront the Latin culture after many years in an Anglo-Saxon context. What will he bring us? We'll see, but undoubtedly a lot of experience, we're talking about a seven-time world champion. He believes we will have the chance to learn something from him, just as he will from us."
