It will kick off at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, home of the United States Grand Prix. This will be a very important weekend, as it also marks the return of the Saturday Sprint race, meaning the alternative weekend format where it will be crucial to come well-prepared.

Arriving with a car already set up with a suitable configuration will help all the teams, as they will only have one free practice session to fine-tune the final details before the Sprint Qualifying.

“With the race in Austin, we begin the intense season finale with six races spread over two triple-headers in just eight weeks. For us, we want to test the effectiveness of what we’ve already brought to the previous races on this track's high-speed corners,” said Ferrari's team principal, Frédéric Vasseur.

The French manager is emphasizing the importance of preparation, which Ferrari has often handled well using the simulator in Maranello, arriving well-prepared for the events featuring a Saturday Sprint Race.

“This weekend, the preparation done at home before arriving at the circuit will be particularly important: the Sprint format returns, and that means we'll have just one free practice session before qualifying for the 100-kilometer race on Saturday.” – the Ferrari team principal pointed out.

Frédéric Vasseur did not mention any new developments—presumably the last ones Ferrari will bring this season—but instead emphasized that the team must make the most of the package they have at their disposal. The goal is to score as many points as possible, as the standings are still wide open and anything can happen.

“Charles and Carlos have prepared well, and the team is motivated. As always, we will focus on ourselves to get the best from the package we have available. We need to give it our all, as the competition is very close and the standings are still wide open.” – the French manager concluded ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
