A 90-km appetizer
The much-anticipated first day on track for Lewis Hamilton went smoothly, amid extraordinary support from fans who chanted, “Bring us, bring us, bring us the championship.” This embrace later extended to Charles Leclerc, who completed 14 laps in wet conditions in the afternoon.
Photos of Hamilton driving the Ferrari SF-23 have gone viral across websites and social media, highlighting the immense anticipation surrounding the debut of the seven-time world champion.

Familiar faces around the British driver
Lewis Hamilton wanted to have his closest companions by his side for what he described as “one of the most beautiful moments” of his life. The presence of his longtime New Zealand physiotherapist, Angela Cullen, dressed in Ferrari colors, did not go unnoticed, effectively confirming her reunion with the driver after their separation in March 2023.

But that's not all—Lewis Hamilton was also joined by his father, Anthony, who appeared in the Ferrari videos from the pits, and his mother, Carmen, who accompanied Lewis during the late-morning embrace with fans. She was recognizable by her blue coat and smartphone in hand, capturing photos.

Another notable figure was Piero Ferrari, who spent time with Lewis Hamilton (the two have known each other for years), along with the English driver's race engineer, Riccardo Adami.
