In red, for real
Just a days before his 40th birthday, Lewis Hamilton took to LinkedIn to share his first thoughts as a true Ferrari driver. While formal statements were made in press releases during his announcement on February 1 last year, this marks the first time the Englishman has spoken since officially signing with Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton chose the popular social network often used for professional networking and sharing industry-specific content, even updating his profile with his “new” job title: "F1 driver for the Ferrari team." Reading this, after a lifetime of bearing the Mercedes emblem on his chest, is certainly striking.

A year to remember
The #44, who will be chasing his eighth career world championship title this year (an absolute record if achieved), also posted a reflection on his personal experience, addressed to anyone starting a new professional chapter in 2025: "I couldn't be more excited about the year ahead. Transitioning to Scuderia Ferrari gives much to reflect on."

"To everyone considering their next move in 2025," Lewis Hamilton wrote, "embrace change. Whether you're changing industries, learning a new skill, or simply taking on new challenges, remember that reinvention is powerful. Your next opportunity is always within reach. Here's to 2025: a year to embrace new opportunities, stay hungry, and move forward with purpose. Let's make it a year to remember. Let's go." Ferrari fans eagerly hope these words turn into reality.
