The two-day session in France and the one recently concluded in Barcelona will not be the only Pirelli test sessions planned before the 2025 F1 season kicks off. The Italian company has scheduled additional on-track sessions with different teams and at different circuits.

On Tuesday, February 4, and Wednesday, February 5, Ferrari and McLaren were in action in Barcelona. The teams' drivers covered many kilometers in their respective 2024 cars, adapted for the occasion to test the 2026 tire prototypes. Prior to that, during the previous week, McLaren had already tested a type of wet tire during another two-day session at Paul Ricard.

However, the French and Catalan sessions will not conclude Pirelli's on-track testing program at the start of the year. Before the lights go out in Australia, the Italian company is set to conduct further tests with different teams.

Pirelli 2025 tests: Jerez and Bahrain before the season

Pirelli will remain in Spain but move to a different location. After the tests conducted with Ferrari and McLaren, the Milan-based company will head to Andalusia, to Jerez de la Frontera.

At the Jerez circuit, three teams will share the workload on Thursday, February 13, and Friday, February 14. Alpine will be on track for both days, while McLaren and Mercedes will each take part for one day.

After the Andalusian tests, it will be Bahrain's turn. The final pre-season Pirelli test sessions will take place in Sakhir on Sunday, March 2, and Monday, March 3. Alpine and Williams will be the teams taking to the track on this occasion.
