An extended version will likely be released after the Super Bowl, but in the meantime, Formula 1's social media channels have unveiled a new teaser trailer for *F1*, featuring Brad Pitt.

The American star plays Sonny Hayes, a former driver who returns to the paddock as a mentor to rising talent Joshua Pearce. A fierce rivalry soon develops between them as they race for the same team, Expensify APX-GP, owned by a close friend of Sonny.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski (*Top Gun: Maverick*), *F1* will be released in Italian theaters this summer, specifically on June 25, 2025. Among the producers is Lewis Hamilton, who is expected to appear as himself alongside the rest of the F1 grid.

The new *F1* teaser trailer features previously unseen footage of Brad Pitt's film. In addition to deeper character interactions, it also showcases intense on-track battles. In some sequences, the American actor is seen dueling with a Red Bull and an Alpine, even going off track.

To make the film as realistic as possible, more than fifty cameras were installed on the cars driven by Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. These are modified Formula 2 and Formula 3 cars, adapted with Mercedes’ support.

A groundbreaking technology, never before used in cinema, was employed for filming. A small 6K camera was placed inside the car to create the sensation of being inside the driver's cockpit. The first scenes were shot during the 2023 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, with filming continuing until last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Below is the new teaser trailer for the film:
