With the start of 2025, Lewis Hamilton officially became a Ferrari driver. The switch was the most anticipated for the upcoming season, and it seems even the Brit was eager to wear red, as evidenced by the change in his social media profiles. For now, we can only speculate about what this collaboration will mean: some believe it will be a failure, others see it as a thorn in Frederic Vasseur’s side, while some think it's a great opportunity to win the Constructors’ title. The final verdict will come on the track, but on paper, the Leclerc-Hamilton lineup promises great things.

According to Nico Rosberg, however, there is still some work his former teammate needs to do before officially debuting in red: fixing his mindset and forgetting the difficult years at Mercedes. “Right now, Lewis keeps saying he’s not fast enough in qualifying. The thing is, in our sport, if you start at the back, it’s hard to climb back up, even though he always shows excellent form in the race; his pace is incredibly strong. His lack of speed on a single lap weighed heavily on him at the end of the year when he kept losing to George Russell, who, after all, is not a world champion. And now, as he looks toward his Ferrari adventure, he will be concerned if this mindset continues. Was it just the car, or does he really think he’s slow? If it’s the latter, it will be painful years. But if he finds his sparkle, it will be a great adventure,” the German said on the Sky Sports podcast.
