OFFICIAL: start times for all 2025 F1 races revealed
Today at 01:32 PM
The start of the new Formula 1 season is getting closer. In just over a month, the first lights will go out at Albert Park in Australia. A few minutes ago, the FIA released the complete schedule for the 2025 GPs, in what promises to be a year full of surprises.
As seen last year, the calendar will once again feature 24 Grands Prix. After five years, the season will begin in Australia on March 16 and conclude in Abu Dhabi on December 7. The six sprint weekends have been confirmed again: free practice and the shootout qualifying on Friday, the sprint and GP qualifying on Saturday, and the race on Sunday.
The circuits hosting sprint weekends will be China, Miami, Belgium, Austin, Brazil, and Qatar. The only change is that Spielberg has been replaced by Spa, which had already hosted a sprint weekend during the 2023 season.
Below is the FIA's official document listing all the start times for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
The only significant change will be during the Las Vegas weekend. Formula 1 has decided to move the start time earlier. While the race was held at 10:00 PM local time (7:00 AM Central European Standard Time) in 2023 and 2024, in 2025, European fans will need to set their alarms two hours earlier: the Grand Prix will start at 5:00 AM (Central European Standard Time).
