The Monegasque analyzed his first impressions and the start of his relationship with his new teammate Lewis Hamilton.

During the lunch break, the conference room at the Sakhir track fills with journalists as it's time for a press conference. Among the drivers present is Charles Leclerc, who speaks to the media before heading out for the afternoon session. The Ferrari driver analyzed the first steps of the SF-25: “The feeling is good, but obviously we haven't done anything yet. These are just tests. We're all trying our things, hiding the real performance. We are focusing on our programs, but the feeling is quite good.”

“So far, we haven’t had any particular surprises. That’s a good thing, but it’s too early to talk about performance.”

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, an unexpected rapport The 1997-born driver observed Sir Lewis' arrival at Maranello, comparing it to his own entry into Ferrari in 2019. “The situation Lewis is in now is very different from the situation I was in when I arrived at Ferrari. Charles explained the similarities with his new teammate: “I'm surprised because our driving styles are very similar. We demand the same things from the car, we both like to push hard on entry. This is positive because it means we will look for the same solutions, rowing in the same direction.”

“My preseason has been a bit in the shadows, but it helped me,” explained the Ferrari driver. “I've worked a lot on myself. I'm pushing to the max to be ready for the first race, hoping to start the season in a better way than last year.” – the Monegasque driver concluded.
