Staggering Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 event packages revealed

Formula 1 will race down the famous Strip for the first time next season, with F1 adding a third United States-based event to its busy calendar for 2023, as first news has began to emerge regarding fan experiences for the first edition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Austin and Miami already sit on the calendar, with the latter hosting its maiden event earlier this season.
The highly-anticipated F1 weekend will most likely take place on November 16-18, as Liberty Media wants to schedule the event in the final part of the championship, followed seven days later by the last race of the season, at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
For now discussions regarding the plans for the weekend are still being ongoing, but the MGM Resorts group have confirmed a series of hotel-plus-event packages on social media, as fans have the possibility to sign up to receive more details at a later date.
According to Sports Business Journal, one of the leading journals for the sports industry, MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle has confirmed the company’s intentions to buy $20-25million worth of tickets from Formula 1, as the cost of event packages may reach up to $100,000.
In a post shared on his social media accounts, the CEO and President of MGM Resorts International said: “I could not be more excited for Formula 1 to join us in Las Vegas. The variety of sports and entertainment in our city is nothing short of spectacular and I cannot wait to watch the race next November.”

At the same time, Bill Hornbuckle told SBJ that rooms in the area could cost up to three times more than their usual rate given the special event on November 16-18.
Las Vegas, known for its chaotic night life, will host its first grand prix on a Saturday in a breakaway from tradition.
