Ferrari and Charles Leclerc are favorites for the 2025 F1 Drivers' Championship, according to Tom Kristensen. The Danish driver, nicknamed “Mr. Le Mans” for his record nine victories in the historic endurance race, has placed his faith in the Prancing Horse. He has full confidence in Frédéric Vasseur's project, which will also benefit from the arrival of Lewis Hamilton, forming a sensational driver pairing.

The 2025 season is just around the corner, and anticipation is growing for the unveiling of the new cars—a small taste of the championship to come before hitting the track for testing in Bahrain and later in Melbourne for the first race of the year. While McLaren is rightfully seen as the favorite among the Constructors, the Drivers' Championship appears to have no clear frontrunner.

Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton—many drivers will aim for the top of the standings, with perhaps the Mercedes duo and Oscar Piastri unfairly overlooked. If Red Bull struggles as they did in the second half of the past season, we could see a different name at the top of the standings.

F1, Will 2025 Be a Duel Between Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc?
Speaking on *F1 Talks* on Viaplay, Tom Kristensen, Mika Hakkinen, and David Coulthard discussed the potential favorite for the next Drivers' Title. Kristensen strongly backs Ferrari and Charles Leclerc: "I'd say Charles Leclerc will be the Drivers' Champion and McLaren the Constructors' Champion. The most obvious answer is to say Max [Verstappen]. But if he doesn't win, then I say Charles Leclerc." – he pointed out.

David Coulthard agreed: "For me, Max is still the best driver of his generation, at least right now. If he has the car, he'll be in contention. But if we set him aside, I like that you mentioned Charles and Ferrari. There's no doubt about his speed, and that would mean Fred Vasseur has stabilized the ship and given Ferrari a chance."

Mika Hakkinen, however, had a different opinion, favoring Lando Norris: "If you look at McLaren, at how they have all the small details and aspects in place right now, I feel Lando is definitely a very strong candidate to be next year's World Champion, with McLaren winning the Constructors' as well."
