This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Among the thousands of autographs that F1 drivers sign every day, occasionally there's a funny episode that brings a smile to fans’ faces. Charles Leclerc knows this well, having previously been caught signing Ferrari gloves that he was actually supposed to wear on the track.

In that instance, the Monegasque driver, amid the many items to autograph, didn't realize that one of his assistants was handing him the gloves he needed to wear. The amusing moment quickly went viral across social media.

“I've fallen for it again”
This line from a song performed by Achille Lauro at the Sanremo Festival a few years ago perfectly sums up what happened to the Ferrari driver. As shown in the video shared on Ferrari's social media, Charles Leclerc found himself in a situation similar to the glove incident.

During an event dedicated to fans, Charles Leclerc is seen purchasing a model of a Daytona SP3 Signature from one of the vending machines outside the Ferrari Store. Right after completing the purchase, number 16 handed the model to a team member.

This team member, after hiding among the crowd, tried to get Charles Leclerc to sign the model car before the Monegasque recognized him and burst out laughing.
