Season opener at Albert Park
The 76th edition of the F1 World Championship – the 68th for the Constructors’ title – will begin on March 16 in Melbourne, Australia. The Albert Park circuit returns as the season-opening Grand Prix venue (last held in 2019), after Bahrain had recently been granted this honor.

Lewis Hamilton will debut as a Ferrari driver in Melbourne, marking the third time the Australian GP at Melbourne takes place on March 16.

The first instance was in 2008, when Lewis Hamilton won driving for McLaren. In 2014, however, Hamilton was forced to retire after only a few kilometers due to a power unit failure in his Mercedes. Nonetheless, in both 2008 and 2014, Lewis Hamilton went on to win the championship at the end of the season. Ferrari fans and the British driver alike will hope this tradition carries forward into 2025, as Lewis Hamilton makes his debut behind the wheel of the Scuderia Maranello car.

When is the Italian Grand Prix?
F1 will stop in Italy twice in 2025: for the Emilia Romagna GP and the Italian GP. The first is scheduled at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit in Imola from May 16 to 18. The second will take place at the Monza Circuit from September 5 to 7.

Monza has already secured a contract extension with Liberty Media until 2031. Imola, on the other hand, must hope for a rotation/alternation with another European venue to remain in F1. For instance, Spa has obtained a renewal until 2031 but will not be featured in the calendar in 2028 or 2030.

When does the 2025 F1 World Championship end?
The 2025 F1 season will conclude on December 7 at Yas Marina, host of the Abu Dhabi GP, the 24th and final round of the 2025 calendar.
