2025 WorldSBK line-up: Who has signed, who is rumoured?

This is how the 2025 World Superbike grid looks, there are only two seats available:

Ducati:

Aruba.it Racing - Ducati:

Nicolo Bulega signed a two-year deal when he joined the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad last season so he is set to stay.

Alvaro Bautista has finally put pen to paper to remain with Ducati in 2025. The Spaniard is going into his fifth season with the team in 2025.

Barni Spark Racing Team:

After a successful weekend at Portimao, the Barni Spark Racing Team re-signed Danilo Petrucci for the 2025 season. Barni Spark will also be extending to a two-rider team in 2025 as they confirmed that they will promote Yari Montella from World Supersport to Superbikes.

ELF Marc VDS Ducati:

ELF Marc VDS Ducati has made the expected decision to re-sign Sam Lowes for the 2025 season. The British rider will get a second year in the Superbike class.

Motocorsa Racing:

Motocorsa Racing Ducati will replace Michael Ruben Rinaldi with Ryan Vickers from the British Superbike Championship.

Team GoEleven:

Andrea Iannone put pen to paper on a new deal with Team GoEleven ahead of the final round of 2024.

MGM Bonovo:

Scott Redding will switch back to a Ducati in 2025. After three years on a BMW, the British rider has joined MGM Bonovo Ducati for 2025.

Yamaha:

PATA Prometeon Yamaha:

The PATA Prometeon Yamaha riders Jonathan Rea and Andrea Locatelli are locked into deals to stay with the team for the 2025 season.

GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK:

Before the final round of the 2024 season, Remy Gardner and Dominique Aegerter announced that they would be remaining with GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK for the 2025 season.

Motoxracing Yamaha Team:

The Motoxracing Yamaha Team will bolster their roster in the 2025 World Superbike season. After losing his ride at Kawasaki Puccetti Racing, Tito Rabata will ride an R1 in 2025 for the team. Alongside the former Moto2 World Champion will be Bahattin Sofuoglu.

GMT94:

GMT94 will likely not run a World Superbike machine in 2025 after committing to two Yamaha R9's in World Supersport.

Bimota/Kawasaki:

Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team:

The Kawasaki Racing Team will become the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team for the 2025 season. The team may be changing name and machinery but the rider lineup will stay the same. Both Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani have committed their future to the team.

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing:

Just before the Portuguese WorldSBK round Garrett Gerloff and Kawasaki Puccetti Racing announced their partnership for 2025. Puccetti will run the current KRT Ninja ZX-10RR machines next year.

BMW:

ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team

Toprak Razgatlioglu and Michael van der Mark will remain in the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team for the 2025 season.

There will only be two BMW riders on the WorldSBK grid in 2025 after Bonovo Action BMW left the manufacturer.

Honda:

Team HRC:

Spaniards Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge are contracted to remain with Team HRC for the 2025 WorldSBK season.

Petronas MIE Racing Honda:

Petronas MIE Racing Honda has not announced its 2025 lineup yet. Tarran Mackenzie has done a good job in his rookie WorldSBK season and deserves to stay. There had been rumours stating he could return to British Superbikes in 2025. However, a post by the Mackenzie and Hodgson Insurance company appears to confirm Mackenzie's spot on the 2025 grid.

The future of Malaysian rider, Adam Norrodin, is currently unknown after the World Superbike rookie had a difficult first year in the class.

Kaito Toba and Khairul Idham Pawi have re-signed with the Petronas MIE Racing Honda World Supersport squad so will not replace Norrodin, if he is replaced.
