Who has signed?
Ducati:
Feel Racing:
The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati WorldSSP team have rebranded for the 2025 World Supersport season. The new Feel Racing Team will continue to run Ducati Panigale V2 machines but have a new rider.
Philipp Oettl will return to World Supersport after three years in World Superbikes. The German will return to Ducati machinery as he aims to challenge for the championship in 2025.
EAB Racing:
After two years in World Supersport 300 Loris Veneman will make his World Supersport debut in 2025. The Dutch rider finished runner-up in the Supersport 300 standings in 2024 but will move to a Ducati Panigale V2 in EAB Racing next season.
WRP Wepol Racing:
The WRP Wepol Racing squad have a new rider lineup and new machinery for the 2025 World Supersport season. The team will switch from Triumph machines to the Ducati Panigale V2 for next season.
The team have also signed title contender, Marcel Schroetter, from MV Agusta to lead their team in 2025. Ondrej Vostatek will also move from PTR Triumph to WRP Wepol Racing for his second season in the championship.
Althea Racing Team:
The Althea Racing Team have announced a new rider lineup for the 2025 season. Simon Jespersen will return to the World Supersport grid with the team in 2025. Leonardo Taccini will be alongside the Danish rider.
Orelac Racing Verdnatura:
Xavi Cardelus will come across from the Moto2 World Championship to World Supersport in 2025 with the Orelac Racing Verdnatura squad.
Jorge Navarro was supposed to race for the Orelac Racing Verdnatura squad in the 2025 season. However, the Spaniard has already broken his contract and decided to return to Moto2.
D34G Racing WorldSSP Team:
Davide Guiglinao has announced his all-new rider lineup for next season. The new lead rider in the D34G Racing Team is Glenn van Straalen who has moved across from Ten Kate Racing.
The team have also signed young Spaniard, Eduardo Montero, to the team after he won the ESBK Superstock 1000 title.
Renzi Corse:
Simone Corsi was the sole rider for the Renzi Corse Team in 2024, but he will not continue as he has retired. However, the team has signed Valentin Debise for the 2025 season as he moves across from the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team.
Yamaha:
Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team:
The Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team will increase to a two-rider team for the 2025 season. The team have signed Can Oncu from Kawasaki to lead their team next season.
Aldi Satya Mahendra will ride alongside Oncu at Yamaha in 2025 after winning the World Supersport 300 title in 2024.
Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing:
Stefano Manzi will remain with Yamaha and Ten Kate for the 2025 season on the new Yamaha R9. However, the Italian will be joined by Yuki Okamoto next year after winning the All Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000 title in 2024.
GMT94 Yamaha:
GMT94 Yamaha will also expand to a two-rider team for next season, the team have kept Lucas Mahias for a second season.
But alongside him will be Michael Ruben Rinaldi, who has dropped from World Superbikes to Supersport for 2025.
VFT Racing:
Yeray Ruiz has signed a new rider for the 2025 World Supersport season. Niccolo Antonelli will switch from Ducati machinery to a Yamaha R9 next season.
MV Agusta:
Motozoo ME Air:
The Motozoo ME Air Racing Team have kept the exact same rider lineup for 2025. Federico Caricasulo will continue to lead the team with Luke Power riding alongside him.
Reparto Corse:
Bo Bendsneyder ended the 2024 World Supersport season with the Reparto Corse team. The Dutch rider will remain with the squad next season after ending last year with a Supersport podium.
Filippo Farioli will come across from the Moto3 World Championship to race in World Supersport next year.
Honda:
Petronas MIE Racing Honda:
The Petronas MIE Racing Honda squad had a difficult 2024 season as the only Honda World Supersport team. However, the team will continue to run with Kaito Toba and Khairul Idham Pawi for a second season.
Honda France:
There will be a second Honda World Supersport squad in 2025 as Honda France has entered the series. Corentin Perolari will ride for the team as he did as a wildcard rider in 2024. Alongside the Frenchman will be Double World Champion, Ana Carrasco.
Kawasaki:
Puccetti Kawasaki World Supersport:
So far there has only been one Kawasaki World Supersport rider announced for the 2025 season. Jeremy Alcoba will come to the Puccetti Kawasaki World Supersport team after three years in Moto2.
Triumph:
PTR Triumph:
Tom Booth-Amos will remain with the PTR Triumph squad for the 2025 World Supersport season. The British rider will continue to ride a Triumph Street Triple RS 765 for a second season.
The second rider in the PTR Triumph squad has now been officially confirmed. Oliver Bayliss will join the team after three years of riding a Ducati Panigale V2, but did get to test the Triumph Street Triple RS 765 at Jerez.
QJMotor:
QJMotor Factory:
The QJMotor Factory Racing Team made its full-time debut in the 2024 World Supersport season. The Chinese manufacturer entered a one-rider team but has increased to a two-rider team for 2025.
Raffaele de Rosa will remain with the squad for a second season, but he will be joined by Niki Tuuli.
Who is rumoured?
There are supposedly only two seats left on the 2025 World Supersport grid unless a new team enters.
Piotr Biesiekirski spent a year with the Althea Racing Team, but there are rumours placing him at VFT Yamaha for 2025.
With Navarro walking out on the Orelac Verdnatura Racing Team there could be a spare Ducati Panigale V2 available for 2025. However, it is unknown if the team will now run a second bike.
MTM Kawasaki has announced their World Supersport 300 plans but did not mention World Supersport. At this time it appears there will only be one Kawasaki on the grid in 2025.
