After a crash in the Superpole Race Alex Lowes has been declared unfit for Race Two.

Alex Lowes has been declared unfit after a crash in the Superpole Race at MotorLand Aragon, Lowes will be sidelined for Race Two.

The #22 was taken to the medical centre after his crash on Lap Three of the Superpole Race and he was diagnosed with a left calf contusion and hematoma.

Lowes had a good start to his Sunday at Aragon as he was fastest in the Warm-Up session. However, Lowes will now need to watch Race Two from the sidelines with his brother Sam Lowes.

Both the Lowes twins will now be on the road to recovery for the penultimate round of the World Superbike season in two weeks at Estoril.
