"Tomorrow should be interesting as I have a big plan to try something new..."
After making his debut in the World Superbike paddock in 2024 there are high hopes for Andrea Iannone's second season in the class in 2025.
The Italian's pre-season testing times have consistently placed him at the sharp end. The most recent test for the World Superbike paddock was the opening day of the Phillip Island Test.
At the end of Day One, Iannone was second on the timesheets, but he admitted that he had 'many problems' during the day.
"We struggled a lot today because we had many problems with some new parts on the bike, and in the end, there was a lot of confusion in the garage," Iannone told WorldSBK.com after the opening day of the Phillip Island World Superbike test.
"But in any case, we worked through it, and it wasn't so bad."
Tomorrow will be the final day of pre-season testing for the World Superbike riders. A lot of riders will have an easy day ahead with final setup changes ahead of the season opener this weekend.
But Iannone has never been a rider that goes along with the normal routine. Team Pata GoEleven apparently has a 'big plan' for the final day of testing to keep Iannone busy.
"My pace is okay, so tomorrow should be interesting as I have a big plan to try something new," Iannone stated.
"Also with the tyres, because today I used the same tyres as last year. We will see how it goes, but in the end, it wasn't so bad.
"I hope we work well tomorrow, without stress, and put everything together. Today was difficult for us, but that's the target, and we're focused on it."
