Nicolo Bulega does the double at Magny-Cours despite a big crash in Race One on Saturday.

The French World Superbike round has produced some sensational drama. The 'Titanic Trio' of Toprak Razgatlioglu, Jonathan Rea and Alvaro Bautista all missed the final race of the weekend. With all three former Champions missing the race win was up for grabs.

Just like in the Superpole Race, it was Nicolo Bulega who stormed to a race win around Magny-Cours. The Italian led from start to finish. The rookie struggled with overworking his tyres earlier this season, but the final race at Magny-Cours was inch-perfect for Bulega.

In second place was fellow Ducati rider, Danilo Petrucci. The Italian rider put together a near-perfect weekend as he finished on the podium three times across the three races.

Garrett Gerloff has finally got his first podium for BMW. The American rider has had a difficult time on the German manufacturer but he put together a great race in France.

Even after dropping all the way back to last place, Alex Lowes managed to finish in fourth place. The British rider appeared to have a gear issue in the early stages of the race but kept pushing for fourth.

Michael van der Mark was unable to match his performance in the opening race as he finished in fifth place. Behind the Dutchman was Remy Gardner who had been having a terrible weekend until he finished sixth in the final race.

In seventh place was the British rider Scott Redding. Once again all three of the BMW riders who took part this weekend were inside the top ten.

Eighth and ninth places were occupied by Team HRC. Xavi Vierge finished in eighth with his teammate, Iker Lecuona in ninth.

Rounding out the top ten was Andrea Locatelli on the PATA Yamaha machine in tenth.
