"Everyone will improve a lot so we need to keep improving but I am happy..."
The 2025 World Superbike season will be Nicolo Bulega's second year in the class. After an impressive rookie season, the Italian will be looking to replicate his success from 2024 in Australia.
Last season Bulega won his first Superbike race at Phillip Island, but missed out on the podium in the following two races. The 25-year-old obliterated the field during the opening day of the Phillip Island Test and was fastest by 0.498 seconds on Day One.
When asked by WorldSBK.com for any predictions on how he would do this weekend Bulega said: "It's early to say, we only did one day across these two sessions.
"It's difficult to say, [where he will place] but I can say I have a good feeling. We only did one pit stop practice today, but it went well, my mechanics did a good job.
"Everyone will improve a lot so we need to keep improving but I am happy."
Bulega went on to discuss his testing schedule for the final day of testing tomorrow. He explained that he is focused on himself rather than his Ducati ahead of the new season.
"We just tried to do some normal testing; this winter we couldn't test much due to the weather conditions.
"I just tried to use my standard bike and do a lot of laps without touching many things in order to understand where I can improve as a rider, not just to improve the bike.
"I think we have a good level, but we have to try to improve more and put down more laps tomorrow."
