Portuguese WorldSBK, Superpole Race Results | Toprak Razgatlioglu does the double at Portimao

Toprak Razgatlioglui continued his domination at Portimao as he claimed victory in the Superpole Race on Sunday morning.

For the second time this weekend, Toprak Razgatlioglu is victorious on the BMW M1000RR. The Turkish rider had a sensational weekend in Portugal and took the fight to Ducati in Race One and the Superpole Race.

The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad had to settle for second and third place in the Superpole Race. Nicolo Bulega was beaten in a head-to-head fight with Razgatlioglu, and Alvaro Bautista had to settle for third place.

Danilo Petrucci was the third Ducati rider inside the top five as he crossed the line in fourth place. The Italian missed out on a podium after being beaten by Bautista in the latter laps of the race.

Andrea Locatelli was back inside the top five again with the Pata Maxus Yamaha R1. The Italian was 0.9 seconds behind Petrucci as he crossed the line in fifth place.

After crashing in Race One on Saturday, Sam Lowes claimed crucial points on Sunday morning. The British rider finished in sixth place on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati.

Michael van der Mark has continued his positive weekend as he backed up his sixth place finish on Saturday with a seventh place on Sunday morning.

The two Honda riders completed the points in the Superpole Race. Xavi Vierge ended the race in eighth, and Iker Lecuona crossed the line in ninth place.

British riders Alex Lowes, Scott Redding, Ryan Vickers and Tarran Mackenzie missed out on the points. Lowes came from 23rd to finish in 13th, Redding crossed the line in 15th, Vickers ended up in 19th and Mackenzie failed to finish.
