It was a return to winning ways for Bo Bendsneyder as he secured his first World Supersport victory in Race Two at Portimao.

Bo Bendsneyder returned to the top step of the podium for the first time since 2015. The Dutch rider has featured on World Supersport podiums with the MV Agusta but has claimed his first victory in the series.

Stefano Manzi has kept his 100% podium record alive as he has featured on all four World Supersport podiums this season. The Italian crossed the line in second place, 2.3 seconds behind Bendsneyder.

Tom Booth-Amos has kept his title challenge alive as he returned to the podium in Race Two. After a difficult start to the weekend at Portimao, he ended his Sunday with a third place finish.

Lucas Mahias was in contention for victory but dropped away as the race progressed. The GMT94 Yamaha rider ended his weekend in fourth place, 0.2 seconds off of the podium.

Valentin Debise was the top Ducati rider at Portimao as he crossed the line in fifth place.

Jeremy Alcoba was in sixth place and completed another positive weekend for the Kawasaki World Supersport Team.

Ducati completed the top ten places as they had Jaume Masia in seventh, Marcel Schroetter in eighth, Leonardo Taccini in ninth, and Philipp Oettl completed the top ten.
