Garrett Gerloff is confident that he can take the Kawasaki ZX-10RR to the front in World Superbikes.

For the 2025 World Superbike season Garrett Gerloff will ride for his third different team in his sixth year in the series.

The American has previously ridden for Yamaha and BMW but has switched to Kawasaki for this season. Gerloff left the Bonovo BMW squad when he signed for the Japanese manufacturer and was asked at the Jerez Test how he was finding life with his new team.

"I miss my Bonovo guys a lot it was a really fun team and we had a blast working together. These guys are also fun, just not to the same level," Gerloff told WorldSBK.com.

"I miss them, but they [Puccetti Kawasaki] are very professional and all the work they do is really good and all the support I have from Kawasaki and Showa is really, really nice. It is definitely an official team and that is a good feeling for me to have.

"But everyone is working great and I am feeling good on the bike. We have not changed a lot compared to how Alex [Lowes] had the bike last year. I am trying to change my riding a bit to try and adapt to the bike a bit more, and try to discover some things with my riding style that I can improve."

Gerloff will be the only rider on a Kawasaki ZX-10RR in 2025 after the Kawasaki Racing Team switched to Bimota's. Although the 29-year-old knows that there is 'pressure' on him to perform he believes he can fight at the front during his first year in green.

"We all want to do well, and to be the only Kawasaki on the grid comes with pressure. But it is also super nice and I want to bring the green bike close to the front and with how I feel now I think we have a good opportunity to be fighting for top fives I think.

"It will be tough with all the Ducati's on the grid this year, but I think we have something in our back pocket. It will not be easy everyone is going fast but top fives would be nice."
