Who crashed the most?

There were two riders who tied for the most crashes in the 2024 World Superbike season. Two-time World Superbike Champion, Alvaro Bautista, and World Superbike rookie, Sam Lowes, share this unwanted title. Both Ducati riders ended the 2024 season with 17 crashes each.

Who crashed the least?

Unsurprisingly it was the 2024 World Superbike Champion, Toprak Razgatlioglu who crashed the least. The BMW rider only crashed twice during the 2024 season, the consistency of the Turkish rider was outstanding this season. This was also the second season in a row that Razgatlioglu crashed the least out of every rider.

Adam Norrodin also shares this honour with Razgatlioglu. However, the Malaysian rider only competed in five full race weekends in 2024.

How many times did the British riders fall?

The six British riders who competed full-time in World Superbikes in 2024 combined for a total of 54 crashes. As previously mentioned it was Sam Lowes who crashed the most out of the British riders with his 17 crashes.

Alex Lowes and Tarran Mackenzie combined for a total of 20 crashes as they crashed 10 times each across the season.

Six-time World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea, was the British rider with the fourth most crashes as he hit the deck eight times throughout the year.

In his final year with BMW Scott Redding crashed five times, the same amount as World Superbike rookie Nicolo Bulega.

Finally, the British rider with the least crashes in the 2024 World Superbike season was Bradley Ray with four. Ray was tied for the third least amount of crashes with Danilo Petrucci, Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Garrett Gerloff.
