Tesla summarizes Supercharger Network milestones in 2024

It’s only a few hours before 2025 begins, and Tesla has started sharing a number of its biggest milestones for the year. These include the milestones of the Supercharger Network, which had a very eventful 2024.
Tesla outlined the Supercharger Network’s accomplishments for the year in a post on its official Tesla Charging account on social media platform X.
The key updates:
- Over the course of the year, Tesla opened over 11,500 new Superchargers stalls.
- This represents a 19% year-over-year growth. It also suggests that Tesla opened an average of about 30 new Supercharger stalls per day in 2024.
- There are now over 67,000 Superchargers worldwide.
- Tesla also opened about 1,000 new Supercharger locations in 2024.
- Tesla Superchargers were launched in three new countries.
- Overall, the Tesla Supercharger Network delivered a total of 5.2+ TWh of energy, offsetting over 5.5 billion kg of CO2 (12.1 billion pounds of CO2) and 2.4 billion liters of gasoline (633 million gallons of gasoline).
