Jan Pancar moved up to the MXGP World Championship in 2024 after aging out of the MX2 World Championship. Despite being a rookie and having a privateer setup, Pancar still did some impressive results.
For the 2025 season, things will be similar for Pancar as he'll be staying with the privateer, TEM JP253 KTM setup which is him and his Dad. It takes a big effort to make it to every MXGP round but that is the plan again for the upcoming season.
"We will stay the same as last year with my own team, just me and my Dad. We get support from KTM and of course a lot of sponsors to be able to do this and do all the races in the World Championship", Pancar told GateDrop.
"You have to have a big budget and we are very thankful to all the sponsors. We showed already this year that we can be really competitive with our own bikes. I am working really hard and will work hard throughout the whole winter to be even better next year. I will try to compete with the top guys in the MXGP class", added Pancar.
The Slovenian is still keen to add sponsors: "We are still open with the sponsorships, if any sponsors wants to be part of our journey it is possible and they can just let us know".
Pancar will be hoping for another strong season in 2025 to hopefully secure a full factory ride in the future.
