McLaren signs big-name replacement after ending deal with major F1 partner

McLaren has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with Puma after ending its partnership with Castore early.  It is reported by SportBusiness that the Woking-based team's deal with Puma will start next season, increasing the sport brand's presence in the F1 paddock.  From next year, McLaren will join Ferrari, Aston Martin, Williams and Stake F1 in being a partner of Puma's, although its current technical partner will remain the same.  According to SportBusiness , Alpinestars will remain as McLaren's technical partner, supplying the team with race suits and other technical equipment.  As for Castore, which joined F1 through McLaren in 2022, RacingNews365 understands that it will partner Haas as its official team wear supplier from next year.  It has been a tremendous start to the season for McLaren, with it boasting a 77-point lead over Mercedes at the top of the standings, whilst Oscar Piastri has a 10-point cushion over team-mate Lando Norris in the drivers' title.
