In spite of its exotic, mid-engine layout and fighter jet interior styling, the C8 Chevrolet Corvette is a reasonably priced sports car. That said, the sub-$60,000 starting price of the 2020 model is a distant memory thanks to ever-present price creep (and dealer markup). Still, if you long for the thrill of a mid-mounted V8 screaming in your ears while you palm a squared-off, F1-style steering wheel, this might be a great time to take the plunge on a new Corvette, since Chevrolet seems to have 5,688 of them in dealers' hands, some with discounts that bring the price down by quite a bit.
