Josef Newgarden, who will start 10th in today’s race, led the way with a lap of 1m01.1952s in his No. 2 PPG Chevrolet, although Honda-powered cars filled the next three places, headed by Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon and Alex Palou.
