250 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS
250 qualifying is underway for the final round of the 2024 Supercross season in Salt Lake City, Utah. Two champions will be crowned this evening but a lot of racing is ahead before that becomes a reality. In the East Coast, Tom Vialle sits 15 points ahead of Haiden Deegan who spoke about not riding clean in this evening’s events as championships are all or nothing. In the West, Levi Kitchen and RJ Hampshire are tied with each other, and both of those riders also know it’s all or nothing but were respectful to each other which should make for some great racing. It all will be decided tonight, but it starts in qualifying. For full updates read down below.

250 WEST QUALIFYING SESSION 1
RJ Hampshire means business in Salt Lake.
Up front early was Jo Shimoda who seems to thrive on the dry track conditions. Today in Salt Lake the track has been dried out and can be a bit slippery on top. RJ Hampshire was able to move himself up to the pole position around the midway point of the session. Julien Beaumer was able to get in a great time just behind Hampshire as the qualifying continued. Levi Kitchen was sitting around the fifth position for the majority of the session but was within the same second as the leaders. Hampshire would back up his best time as he was able to put in multiple fast laps. He would lead them to the conclusion of the session.
Julien Beaumer was feeling comfortable in the dry technical conditions.
Nate Thrasher was also quick and has a good chance to grab a win this evening.
