Carlos Prat is the second and final signing for the Triumph Jezyk Racing Team for the 2025 season. Following the recent addition of Samuel Nilsson, it’s now time to introduce the young Catalan rider, who will debut in the MX2 category next year on a TF 250-X.
At just seventeen years old, Prat has been riding since he was three. In the 2024 season, he had an excellent run in the 125cc category, where he stood on the podium in every race of the Spanish Championship and finished second in the final standings. He also showed solid results in the European Championship, securing a spot in the Top 20, making him one of the fastest riders in the lower categories. Throughout his racing career, Prat has earned several titles, including a fifth place in the 65cc category and fourth in the 85cc at the Spanish National Championship, as well as a third place at the European Championship in Portugal in the 85cc class.
!! The rider from Lerida is already training on what will be his new bike, with the goal of being fully prepared for the first race of the Spanish Motocross Championship.
Carlos Prat, Rider: “I’m really motivated and looking forward to starting the season. It's a new category, a new bike, and a new team structure, so we're already working hard to be in the best condition possible for the first race in February. As for the bike, I want to highlight that it’s very agile, with excellent traction, and it gives me really good feelings, especially at the top end. I think we can be at the front, so I’ve set ambitious goals, such as reaching the podium in Nationals and getting closer to the Top 10 in the European 250cc races.”
Carlos Morchón, Team Manager: “We've known Carlos for years, and he certainly has the talent, speed, and a strong desire to do things right. He's already shown excellent form this year, and we're more than confident that he will quickly adapt to the bike and equipment. As far as we're concerned, we will do everything we can to bring in results and ensure he continues his progress as a rider.”
