Ron Lechien was born on December 13, 1966
Ronnie showed his promise in his first year on the Nationals (1983) on a Factory Yamaha YZ125.
Ron Lechien moved to Team Honda in 1984 where in won the 1985 AMA 125 National Championship.
Ron had a loyal following of fans and is one of the few riders who can claim to have won 125 Nationals, 250 Nationals, premier Supercrosses and 500 Nationals, plus the Motocross des Nations twice.
Today, 57-year-old Ron Lechien runs Maxima Lubricants, just as his dad did when Ron was an up-and-comer.
