
Ernest to perform prior to Cup race at Texas

GRAMMY®-nominated top-selling singer-songwriter ERNEST will perform hits from his critically acclaimed albums Flower Shops (The Album) and Nashville, Tennessee and much more in headlining the first Busch Light Summer Music Series event of the year before the May 4 WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
To kick off the Busch Light Summer Music Series, the top-selling Nashville artist, "Ernest, a writer of hit songs and an emerging star in his own right" (The New York Times), has earned thirteen No. 1 hits as a songwriter and several No. 1 hits on country radio. ERNEST will be performing hits from his critically acclaimed albums “Flower Shops (The Album)” and “Nashville, Tennessee” featuring collaborations with Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Lukas Nelson, Jelly Roll, HARDY and much more leading up to Sunday‘s green flag. ERNEST also recently co-penned the Hot 100 record-breaking single, "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen which earned him a 2025 GRAMMY® nomination.
This year, ERNEST is on the road as direct support for Lainey Wilson and Old Dominion. Last year, he opened for Morgan Wallen‘s "One Night at a Time" Stadium Tour as well as arena shows for Jelly Roll‘s "Beautifully Broken Tour." The 2025 Busch Light Summer Music Series will debut at Texas Motor Speedway (May 4), followed by concerts once a month at Michigan International Speedway (June 8), the Chicago Street Race (July 6), Iowa Speedway (Aug. 3) and World Wide Technology Raceway (Sept. 7).
Texas Motor Speedway offers fans premier access to enjoy the ERNEST concert and driver introductions for the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY with the purchase of a Sunday Track Pass ticket upgrade for $85.66 while supplies last. For even more access, fans can purchase an Ultimate Fan Pass to experience all the fun the Track Pass offers, plus have access to the NASCAR garage and pit road on Saturday and Sunday of race weekend, a guided Cup Series garage tour, pre-race victory lane access and a keepsake Texas Motor Speedway-branded Yeti rambler mug. The pre-race concert is free with any race ticket, but a Track Pass or Ultimate Fan Pass provides the holder with the ability to move from the grandstands to the racing surface and be in front of the stage for the concert as well as driver introductions.
NASCAR fans will enjoy a tripleheader weekend of on-track action, with all three national series competing at Texas Motor Speedway. There will be a race every day, beginning with the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series SpeedyCash.com 250 on Friday, May 2 (7 p.m. CT). The Xfinity Series will be featured Saturday, May 3, with the Andy‘s Frozen Custard 300 beginning at 1 p.m. The weekend culminates with the Cup Series WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY on Sunday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m.
The Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Outlaw Sprints will take to the half-mile Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track May 1 and 3 for the second annual Stockyard Stampede.
