Former NASCAR star returns to the dirt track for a full season
Kasey Kahne is going full-time sprint car racing in 2025. He’s set to run the full schedule with High Limit Racing.
Eric Prutzman will be the crew chief for Kahne in 2025. Prutzman previously won championships working with Brad Sweet.
In 2024, Kahne entered 45 of the 51 feature events with High Limit. He collected 1 top-5 and 9 top-10’s.
The 44-year-old is an 18-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. He hasn’t run a Cup event since 2018.
Brad Sweet won the High Limit title as a driver in 2024. Kahne is the owner of that entry.
High Limit will open their 2025 season on March 16th. It opens in Las Vegas, at the same time that NASCAR is in town.
The High Limit Sprint Car Series is co-owned by NASCAR star Kyle Larson as well as Brad Sweet.
New for 2025, a charter system is in place for the High Limit Series. 5 charters were issued after the 2024 season. 5 more will be issued at the end of this season. Beginning in 2026, charter teams will collect 50% of the streaming revenue from the series.
