NASCAR has issued six penalties after Martinsville Speedway

Martinsville Speedway hosted the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series over the weekend. On Tuesday, NASCAR issued their weekly penalty report, with six violations noted.

On the final lap of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, Sammy Smith crash Taylor Gray in an attempt to get the win. However, Smith was also taken out. The two drivers met for a heated conversation at the infield care center after the race. Now, both drivers have been fined.

Penalty: Crew members (Aslan Pugh and Jonpatrik Kealey) have been suspended from the next two NASCAR Cup Series Championship points events, through Bristol Motor Speedway, April 13, 2025.
