Shane Van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch will have primary sponsorship from Red Bull in 2025
Today, Trackhouse Racing announces that Red Bull returns to the NASCAR Cup Series. The company will sponsor Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch in select races.
Van Gisbergen has had backing from Red Bull dating back to 2016, far before his venture into NASCAR. He claimed the Supercars championship as a Red Bull athlete in 2016, 2021 and 2022.
Connor Zilisch is racing full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports in 2025. The Trackhouse Racing development driver will also race part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series.
The Red Bull Racing Teampreviously owned two cars in the NASCAR Cup Series. The team closed following the 2011 season with two race wins collected.

Connor Zilisch comments
"I was surprised when they presented me my Red Bull helmet and hat last summer and doubly surprised when they told me I would make my Cup debut in the No. 87 with a Red Bull paint scheme," said Zilisch.
"Red Bull is going to bring a lot more eyes to NASCAR and I think everyone will win when that happens."
