The Kawasaki Racing Team participated in a two-day test at MotorLand Aragon with Alex Lowes.

Only a few days after the French World Superbike Round at Magny-Cours, riders were back on track at MotorLand Aragon. The Kawasaki Racing Team were present at the Spanish circuit for two days of testing.

The aim of the two-day test for KRT was preparation for the MotorLand Aragon round in late September. The other role this test played was to develop the Ninja ZX-10RR for the remaining 2024 rounds and the 2025 season. Despite Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani not using the Ninja ZX-10RR in 2025 the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing Team will be using it.

After the two-day test, Alex Lowes stated: "Another positive test overall. We found challenging conditions with the wind but I felt good with the bike. We managed to try some different tyre combinations. I think tyre life could be an issue over the race weekend, depending on the track temperature and conditions. The new surface is quite a lot different to the old surface.

"We collected some good information from two full race simulations, and we did a lot of laps. Now I am ready to go home, have a birthday weekend with the family and recharge the batteries ready for the back-to-back race weekends coming up shortly. Thanks to the team for their big effort in this past week."

Joining Alex Lowes on track was his twin brother, Sam Lowes, who is preparing for his first Aragon Superbike round.
