Xavi Fores and Xavi Artigas complete the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Test Team.
The Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will tackle the World Superbike Championship in 2025. This brand-new project will take a lot of work to become competitive, which the team has recognised.
Ahead of the new season, there will be a two-day test on the 22nd and 23rd of January at Jerez. However, the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Teams test riders will be out on track on the 21st of January.
Florian Marino will participate in the one-day test on the 21st, this will be his final outing as a Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team test rider. The French rider previously completed testing duties for the Kawasaki Racing Team. However, the 31-year-old will move on after the test as he has entered the Endurance World Championship with Elf Marc VDS KM99.
With Marino moving on after the Jerez Test the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team has drafted in two replacements. One rider was a World Superbike podium finisher and the other has just finished competing in Moto2 in 2024.
The first new addition to their lineup is Xavi Fores, the 39-year-old veteran will provide a vast amount of experience to the new KB998. The Spaniard has competed for BMW, Ducati and Kawasaki across his years in the World Superbike Championship.
The veteran Fores will be joined by, 21-year-old Xavi Artigas in the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Test Team. The Spaniard is set to compete in the CIV Supersport championship for Kawasaki in 2025 after competing in Moto3 and Moto2 for the past four years.
