The 2022 British Superbike Champion ends his time in World Superbikes ahead of returning to British Superbikes.
After two years in World Superbikes, Bradley Ray's time in the Championship has come to an end.
For the 2025 season, Ray will return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the OMG Racing UK Team. Ray won the British Superbike title in 2022 before moving into the World Superbike Championship.
Ray entered World Superbikes in 2023 with the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team. However, due to funding issues, Ray could only take part in the European rounds of the season. After competing in 24 races the Yamaha rider finished 19th in the standings after scoring 19 points.
For the 2024 season, Ray stayed with the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team, but he competed in every round. The 27-year-old competed in all 36 World Superbike races and finished 21st in the Championship after scoring 14 points.
In a statement on social media, Ray said this about his time in World Superbikes:
"2024 season over and out it's not been an easy season for myself and the Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team but as a team, we gave it everything at each round and did the best job we could do!
"Big thank you to Sandro, the whole team and Yamaha Racing for giving me the opportunity the past 2 years in WSBK. I learnt a hell of a lot and gained experience I can take forward in my career.
"A bit of downtime now and get ready for 2025."
