After winning the 2023 World Supersport Championship, Nicolo Bulega was promoted to World Superbikes in 2024.

The Italian remained with the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati outfit and became teammates with back-to-back World Superbike Champion, Alvaro Bautista. With a teammate who was in the hunt for his third World Superbike title in a row, many expected Bulega to be a number two rider at Ducati.

However, the 25-year-old was not going to sit back at let Bautista take all the glory in 2024.

Bulega ended his rookie World Superbike campaign with an incredible level of success. He won six races throughout the season, including the opening race of his debut season. The #11 also stood on 18 further podiums throughout the year.

During the season he was able to amass 484 points and ended his rookie season in second in the standings. Bulega was able to dominate his veteran teammate as he beat him by 127 points throughout the season.

Bulega will likely become the number one rider in the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati squad in 2025. The Italian will also be an expected title contender for his second season in the World Superbike Championship.
