In a wet Superpole session Toprak Razgatlioglu rocketed to the top of the timesheets as he secured pole position.

Toprak Razgatlioglu takes pole position in the penultimate World Superbike round of the season. The Turkish rider can wrap up his second WorldSBK title this weekend and a pole position start is the perfect start for the #54.

Danilo Petrucci narrowly missed out on his first WorldSBK pole position. The Italian rider will start from second place after a late mistake lost him time on his fastest lap.

Returning to the front row of a World Superbike grid is Jonathan Rea. The six-time World Champion has had a difficult 2024 season and will want to end it on a positive note with good results at Estoril.

Just behind Rea is his teammate Andrea Locatelli in fourth on the Pata Prometeo Racing Yamaha. The Italian has had a drop in form in recent rounds as he aims to hold onto his fifth place in the Championship.

Championship challenger, Nicolo Bulega will start the Estoril round from fifth place on the grid. The Italian rider would have been hoping that Razgatlioglu would start behind him, but he now has a lot of work to do in the races.

ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK rider, Michael van der Mark, will start from sixth place on the grid.

Sam Lowes will start from seventh place on the grid on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The British rider is coming back from a second shoulder injury and the wet conditions have suited him this weekend.

In eighth place on the grid is the Petronas MIE Racing Honda rider of Tarran Mackenzie. The rain has been a perfect leveller for Mackenzie as he has shown his true potential.

At the back of the third row is Alex Lowes as he starts from ninth place on the grid. Lowes is the top Kawasaki rider on the grid.

Behind Lowes is his teammate Axel Bassani who completes the top ten on the World Superbike grid.

British riders Scott Redding and Bradley Ray start from outside the top ten as they qualified in 19th and 21st.
