Estoril WorldSBK, Warm-Up Results | Alex Lowes sets the pace on Sunday morning

Only ten riders set a lap time in the World Superbike Warm-Up session, but Alex Lowes topped the timesheets at the end of the 10-minute session.

Alex Lowes tops Sunday morning Warm-Up at Estoril as only 10 riders set lap times. The Kawasaki Racing Team rider finished fourth on Saturday and is on the hunt for a podium on Sunday.

After his teammate took Honda back to the podium on Saturday Xavi Vierge will be on the hunt for a competitive result on Sunday. The Spaniard finished in ninth in Race One, something he will want to improve on.

After crashing out of the podium places and Championship contention in Race One Alvaro Bautista now has nothing to lose. The Spaniard has no chance at retaining his crown or #1 plate for 2025 so may now play the team game.

Axel Bassani crashed out of the top ten in Race One and ended Warm-Up in fourth place. The Italian and the Kawasaki are starting to click in the latter stages of the season.

Completing the top five was British rider Sam Lowes on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati.

Outside of the top five was Danilo Petrucci, the Italian had an uncharacteristic crash on Saturday as he lost out on a podium battle.

Philipp Oettl ended the session three seconds slower than Alex Lowes but finished in seventh place.

Home hero Ivo Lopes ended Sunday morning in seventh place on the Petronas MIE Honda.

Yamaha completed the final two places inside the top ten in Warm-Up. Bradley Ray finished in ninth place on the Motoxracing Yamaha and Andrea Locatelli finished in tenth on the Pata Prometeon Yamaha.
