'Perhaps he should have waited before making all that fuss' - Ducati boss discusses Toprak Razgatlioglu's pace at the Portimao Test

Serafino Foti believes Toprak Razgatlioglu spoke too soon after the World Superbike season opener.
After a month of no racing the World Superbike Championship is ready for its second round of the 2025 season.
Last weekend the World Superbike paddock was in Portimao a week early for a two-day test at the Portuguese circuit.
During this test, Toprak Razgatlioglu ruled supreme as he was the fastest rider across both days of track action.
Ducati dominated the opening round of the season, but it appears that Razgatlioglu will be back at the front this weekend.
"Unfortunately, the tests were again affected by the weather," Aruba.it Racing - Ducati Team Manager, Serafino Foti told GPOne.
"Toprak proved to be very fast, but we need to understand what kind of work has been done. I am referring to the tyres.
"Pirelli brought development tyres, but not everyone used them. Just to give an example: we only used one, so as a result we don't know how the others performed.
"So, we will have to wait for the race weekend to get a clearer picture of the situation."
After Round One in Australia, there were some bold claims from the two-time World Champion, Razgatlioglu.
The Turkish rider had threatened to walk away from World Superbikes after labelling the series a 'Ducati Cup'.
Foti has now responded to Razgatlioglu's comments and believes the Turkish rider may have spoken too soon.
"Toprak was very fast and I had already anticipated this at the end of the Phillip Island round," Foti stated.
"In my opinion, it was perhaps enough to wait instead of making all that fuss that was made after the race in Australia."
