Renzi Corse Ducati and Valentin Debise officially join forces for the 2025 World Supersport season.
After winning the 2024 World Supersport Challenge with Simone Corsi the Renzi Corse squad will enter the World Supersport Championship in 2025.
As Corsi has moved on to join Forward Racing in Moto2 next season the Italian team needed a new rider. Valentin Debise has committed his future to the Renzi Corse Team for the 2025 World Supersport Championship.
In 2024 Debise rode for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team and ended the season in fourth place. Debise claimed seven podium finishes with two second-place finishes during the year.
The Frenchman made his full-time World Supersport debut in 2023 with the GMT94 Yamaha squad. After two years on a Yamaha R1 the 32-year-old will ride the Ducati Panigale V2 in 2025, a bike he already tested at Jerez.
'The team is extremely prepared and the feeling with them is great.'
"I'm really happy to join this team," Debise said. "I've always had a great relationship with Italy and I couldn't wait to race with an Italian bike!
"In the Jerez tests, I had the opportunity to try the Ducati for the first time, and I have to say that I really liked it. It's a different bike from the ones I've ridden so far, but the team is extremely prepared and the feeling with them is great.
"I'm sure I'll be able to adapt quickly. I can't wait to get back on track and start this new adventure!"
Team Principal, Stefano Renzi, added: "2024 has been a truly exciting year, and this was possible thanks to the incredible work of the entire team, especially our Crew Chief Savino Santomauro, and the extraordinary contribution of Simone Corsi.
"Our goal was to win the Challenge, and we did it! Now we are ready to face a new adventure, with the official entry into the WorldSSP World Championship, which will see us compete also in extra-European stages, alongside a rider of the caliber of Valentin Debise. I have a lot of faith in him, especially for his experience, which is demonstrated by the results obtained in the last two seasons.
"It will undoubtedly be a demanding season, with a very high level of competition, but I am convinced that we can take a lot of satisfaction. A special thanks goes to all our sponsors, whose support is essential to face this new challenge."
