Christian Horner slammed his Formula 1 rivals as he spoke out on the scandal that surrounded him in the new series of Drive to Survive.
The seventh season of F1: Drive to Survive drops on Netflix on Friday, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the 2024 season.
Unsurprisingly, the opening episode, titled ‘Business as Usual’, covers the scandal involving the Red Bull Racing team principal that dominated headlines this time last year.
Horner, husband of former Spice GirlGeri Halliwell, was accused of ‘inappropriate and coercive behaviour’ by a female employee of the team, but was cleared after an independent investigation.
The 51-year-old has always denied the allegations and repeatedly tried to draw a line in the sand, but was forced to yet again address the matter for Drive to Survive, saying in the series: ‘The higher you rise, the sharper the knives.

‘I reached the top of my game and I never thought in a million years I’d have a challenge like this in my career.
‘It’s a crucial time of the year, in the job that I do you’re the front face of the organisation you can either hide away or you can get out there and face it.’
In a notable scene, Horner hits out at McLaren boss and fierce rival Zak Brown shortly after he had called for transparency in the investigation.
‘You find out who your friends aren’t don’t you?’ microphones caught Horner saying to a colleague.
‘Zak is a p***k. I’ll get through it.’
‘That’s the best way to f**k all of them. “Shut the f**k up”,’ Horner tells another Red Bull team member after Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez cruise to a 1-2 finish in the season opening race in Bahrain.
In the most explosive moment of the saga, texts and images supposedly from the investigation were leaked to F1 personnel and media on the eve of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
‘It was obvious that the end goal was for me to leave Red Bull,’ Horner says in a piece to camera before an intriguing exchange takes place.
A Netflix interviewer asks: ‘But who leaked them?,’ to which Horner replies: ‘That’s the multi-million dollar question.’
‘That you know the answer to?’ the interviewer responds, only for Horner to stay silent and grin.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 7 releases on Netflix on Friday, March 7.
